Getting my hands dirty

I finally decided to get my hands dirty creating and mapping textures into my ship model. It’s been a slow and complicated task, and it I haven’t finished yet, but the model is starting to look nice.

Truth be told, learning how to map textures correctly and combine them is taking me a lot of time and effort. Even so, I took the chance to change a few other things in the scene, such as asteroid textures, background and lighting. This is how the scene looks for the time being:
